Discovery & Vision
We learn how you live, cook, and entertain.
Your experience begins in our Manhasset showroom. You will meet with one of our experienced, highly trained designers in a one-on-one collaboration and discuss your vision for your project. If you have plans or dimensioned sketches, we recommend you bring them to your appointment. If you don’t, you can bring photos and rough dimensions of your space. We’ll introduce you to custom products and unique design solutions available to you. Together, we’ll talk about your individual needs — including space requirements, materials, finishes, fixtures and appliances — as well as a schedule and budget. Together, we’ll explore how transformative design can enhance your space, blending aesthetic appeal with functional improvements.
Concept & Design Development Presentation
Layout, materials, and architectural direction are defined.
Your designer will meet with you to review a design strategy based on the Discovery meeting and present initial design concepts tailored to your vision. The owner will be involved in all construction requirements necessary for your project. We’ll walk you through our creative direction including suggested design concepts, materials, product ideas, and share the inspiration and rationale behind our approach.
The outcome of this meeting is for you to have a clear understanding of our design intent and process. If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll create a retainer agreement to initiate the next phase — the Concept & Design Development of your project.
This initial fee is based on the scope of your project and will be credited toward the cost of your project.
Detailed Planning & Engineering
Every element is resolved before construction begins.
In this phase, we’ll develop and refine your kitchen, bath and/or home remodel design based on your home conditions, and measurements. We provide structural, mechanical, construction documents, that may be required to ensure seamless integration of our designs in your project scope. Permit applications iwll be initiated.
With a kitchen remodel, your designer will produce a complete set of cabinetry-focused drawings, including detailed layouts, elevations, dimensions, appliance, electrical and plumbing integration plans. We’ll also finalize material selections, finishes, and provide all cabinetry and design specifications. We provide similar drawings for bathroom renovations.
Final Presentation + Agreement
In this phase, we present the final design, including all room and cabinetry drawings, and formal agreements for approval. The final product selections and project timeline are confirmed. Upon receipt of a 50% deposit for cabinetry and a deposit for construction, cabinetry fabrication begins and a construction timeline is set.
All drawings must be signed by the client before moving forward
Fabrication
Following the detailed guidelines in our meticulously crafted drawings, specifications, and approved samples, our master cabinetmakers will begin to create your dream kitchen. Your design team will assist in the final selection of actual stone slabs, tiles, and other design elements and coordinate the installation schedule, including the arrival of all essential elements.
