Southshore, Long Island Home Re-Invented

A 50-year-old bi-level home located on a scenic canal had dated finishes, a closed floor plan and a small inefficient kitchen with very little storage.  The kitchen was situated in the back of the home, blocking much of the yard and natural light. There was no room for an island in the current layout.  The space lacked inspiration and brightness. It also lacked togetherness.

The couple work in the entertainment industry and wanted to create a positive, fun environment for their family and friends. They appreciate fine quality finishes. They wanted a fusion of styles that worked together to shape an enjoyable home life. We had to modify the original layout to accomplish their dream. They described the transformation as a magnificent feat!
